The Moama 3 Man series operates under modified NPPL rules.

Amendments specific to Melbourne 3 Man events:

• All games will be a "Race to 5".
• Each team will play one team twice on each night of the league.
• On-field coaching will not be allowed, however, spectators will be permitted to give instruction during gameplay.

Finals Structure:

• Top 2 teams will advance to finals, to play each other in 2 "Race to 5" rounds. The winner will receive 1st place.

Amendments specific to Moama 3 Man events:

• Open division teams will play "Race-to-3" matches - ie: the first team to win 3 games will win the match.
• Am teams will play "Race-to-2" matches - ie: the first team to win 2 games will win the match.
• For all games, a score of 1 point is awarded for a win and 0 points for a loss. Drawn games will be replayed.
• Players will not be permitted to re-pod or re-gas between points. Players may only use what they can carry on their person to the first game (extra pods or air tanks may not be left on the side of the field).

Finals Structure:

• Open division - top 4 highest scoring teams in the preliminary rounds will advance to finals. If there are less than 4 teams in the division, all teams will advance.
• Am Division 1 - same as Open, time permitting. If time does not permit, only the top 2 teams will advance to finals.
